In this episode, I talk to Cyan I about him almost quitting his passion for music. When I hear these types of stories they really hit home, because the entertainment industry is brutal on you personally and physically.
Cyan I met in a Gary Vaynerchuk Instagram thread online. He had a very similar Los Angeles experience as I did.. as you'll hear in this episode, it's not a good one. I just remember asking him for a link to his work...
I was SHOCKED on how talented this guy is. He produces his own music and performs as well. This guy is just warming up, but I have a feeling he's going to explode here in the near future. It's just a matter of time.

Tim Daust has been a cinematographer for 20 years and has worked with celebrity clients like Butch Walker, Two Chains, Young Thug and Imagine Dragons.
Tim also talks about how he was a videographer before he was a cinematographer. You can become a better cinematographer by getting your reps in and creating as much content as humanly possible. Tim talks about the importance of working for free and knowing when to do it and NOT do it.

How to get into public relations, working in public relations and how to start your public relations career is what we talk about in today's episode. In the entertainment industry, Public relations (PR) plays a HUGE role. When I work a red carpet event, you have to speak with the public relations specialist before you talk to the talent. They will tell you how long you have to talk to them, what not to talk about and they make sure the talent doesn't say anything they aren't supposed to say.
I started working with Kaci Pedersen of Kaci Pedersen Public Relations when I moved back to Atlanta. A 30 minute meeting turned into a 4 hour conversation. She aligned with my vision and my goals, so to hire her as my publicist was a no brainer. Kaci Pedersen defines Publicist as is a person whose job is to generate and manage publicity for a company, a brand, or public figure. Her services include - "At KPPR, “PR” houses various roles. It could be project management, marketing, social media, branding, and/or event planning- it all varies based on each client’s needs and what role we need to play in order to help them achieve their goals!"
